Jackdaw Review takes 3 poems!

I am beside myself. Incredibly generous Editor Anna DiMartino at Jackdaw Press just accepted three of my poems, “Considering a Diagnosis at Martin’s Fort Lake,” “Ocean Aubade,” and “Tragedy Should Be More Dramatic,” for the third issue, Fall 2025. In just the last 2 issues of Jackdaw Review, there are poems by Ted Kooser, Molly Fisk, Robert Hass, Dorianne Laux, and a bevy of other amazing writers. You need to go read this literary magazine, the work is luminous. I cannot believe my work can sit alongide so many others that I’ve studied from afar! I may simply expire. EXPIRE, I tell you!
