New chapbook: The Girl and the Gifts!

I am beside myself in celebration–Bottlecap Press has published my chapbook The Girl and the Gifts. With an arc of self-discovery and self-determination, this collection connects mythological themes with quotidian life–a Long Island girl compares her home life with an old Irish selkie legend, trees discuss how they know Daphne after her flight from Apollo, and as she ages a girl wonders which of her inherited ancestral myths will shape her future. If you enjoy mythology and fairy tales, and believe in the ways the echoes of the past shape our future, I think you’ll love this one!

In June, my full-length poetry collection The Light Becomes Us (Main Street Rag, 2025) and my chapbook collection Toothache in the Bone (boats against the current, 2025) were published. To see this collection find a home so soon was a complete surprise, and such a gift!
