Sorry-not-sorry about the all-caps of the headline–Broken Tribe Press chose my poetry manuscript The Discipline of Drowning as the winner of their 2025 poetry book award contest!!!! I am beyond over the moon that this book has found such a wonderful home. Please chair-dance with me if you’re at your computer (or just wiggle/shimmy a bit in a non-threatening way if you’re in line at Starbucks or something). I’m so excited and grateful this collection will make its way into the world with a press that houses so many amazing writers. Squeeeeee!!!!!
